“She was born in Avignon, in the south of France. Eline van Dijkman started her working life by helping in her parents' French wine company. However, concerns about the well-being of the planet caused her to take a different path. She graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2023. As a product designer, she now uses industrial waste to make furniture. “I want to show that a dirty material like rubber still has a lot of potential.”

It is not the only material she works with; Material is always the starting point of her designs and as a self-proclaimed materials researcher, Van Dijkman is always looking for new materials to design with.

Although she describes it as 'very cliché', she has one clear example in her life: her mother. “She is a very strong woman who has been through a lot but still remains positive and considers herself the richest person on earth.”
